It's a tunic. It fits tight and kind of bunches up over my hips. I searched for it online because I love it so much and was going to post something about it on this blog but I couldn't find it for sale anywhere. It's M Missoni (the less expensive Missoni line) and I got it on sale at Intermix. I think I paid $150 for it (but I had a $50 gift certificate so I only paid $100) and it was about $400 full price.
