Temple Grandin at TED

I missed the HBO movie about Temple Grandin, but I just watched the talk she gave at TED this year and found it to be so interesting. She explains how the autistic mind thinks in pictures, and how animals think the same way. If you have time, watch:

Also, in case you're unfamiliar with TED...

TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design.

Gather the world's leading thinkers and doers, offer them four days of rapid-fire stimulation, and the result? Unexpected connections. Extraordinary insights. Powerful inspiration.

I think you have to be invited to attend the conference (they only want the best and the brightest there!), but you can watch the lectures on their website. Click here to check it out!

This is really a fascinating talk. Thanks for posting. I wouldn't have found it on my own.

Karen, I highly recommend the film. While the subject matter might appear to be a little dry, the movie is fantastic.
