Old College Friends

So I requested to be this guy's friend on Facebook. We went to college together and his name popped up on a mutual friend's page. I probably would've forgotten about him had I not seen his name, but when I did, I thought, "I know him!"

So anyway, when I requested to be his friend I wrote a little note explaining we went to college together, because it's been over ten years since we've seen each other and we weren't very good friends to begin with. When he accepted he sent me an email that said:

So, in 02' I had a 17 hour surgery that wiped some parts of my hard drive (personal memory.) Remind me again how we know each other? Did we have any classes together? I'm totally drawing a blank... sorry if that's rude.

So I replied and said, "I can't believe you don't remember me—we had sex."

We didn't.

Is that bad?

(Full disclosure: I sent him another email shortly thereafter saying I was kidding.)
