I saw your twitter post about The Glass Castle - you MUST read it. It is brilliant and heartbreaking. You won't be able to put it down. I think I pretty much read it in one sitting, so make sure you have a couple of hours to spare!

Yes, well I saw her on Oprah which is why I bought the book, so I know the story. For some reason, however, I never got around to reading it. And then my sister was looking for a good book, so I gave it to her and she read it and loved it. And then the last time my mom was visiting I gave it to her to read and she loved it too. Both of them read it in a day or two. I will read it next.
One of the things I loved that she said on Oprah was that she underestimated people's capacity for compassion. That always stuck with me.
