This might sound crazy but...

I blew off my shrink appointment this morning because it was raining outside and I didn't want to get out bed, so I'm just going to show up tomorrow at the same time and pretend they got the day wrong.

I totally love that you admit to this...I think it makes me like you better...ha! ha!

So, she doesn't read your blog?

I have 100% done this before. With my kid's pediatrician appointment. Also OB/gynecological appointments. As well as therapy.

It's amazing how far blinking over wide eyes and acting confused can get you. Especially with a screaming child in tow. Maybe you can borrow your littlest niece and cry babysitting?

What if it rains tomorrow?

What about the puppies? They probably waited for the nice crazy lady all day and she didn't show.

Hopefully she dosn't read your blog. I can't say that I haven't done that before though.

LOL. You would actually show up the next day?

October 9, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterWallace

Meh. They're puppies, they've probably only got a 15 second attention span.

But why is it they got the day wrong? Won't they think you got the day wrong. Who is the reliable source on which day is right? Or would that be you because the therapist is only supposed to guide you to your own conclusions, and not tell you what to think? I think you're on the verge of a breakthrough here. Why believe sleepyhead who doesn't want to get wet? Because you are the master of your own fate! Own it! Call them and tell them! Just kidding. My technique in these situations is to never, ever go back again. Ever.
