Great Instructional Video

I recently stumbled upon a website called Expert Village where people can upload instructional videos of themselves doing whatever it is they do so expertly. (You know what I mean.)

Now, is it just me, or is making a prosthetic limb something that should be left to a professional?

I just don't think this is a D.I.Y. project one should really be taking on.

As a long time maker of prosthetic arms in my garage, I must take offense to you poking fun at this video.

The home-made prosthetic limb industry is a cottage industry that has endured many hardships over the years.

I myself, a maker of arms, find it appalling when people make fun of me while shopping while testing out 6 freshly completed arms. Sure it looks like I'm a spider, and people know me around my local grocery store as 'Spider Man,' but I find that it saves time for me to test my creations this way. Plus, I can reach for juice, cereal, ham, bread, eggs, salad fixin's, and low fat yogurt all at the same time while whisking my cart through the aisles.

I knew two guys that went to a prosthetics school. It is an art of precision. They told me that women always ask if the make prosthetic male parts. They don't.

I don't think that you were poking fun of the video. It really is something that should be left to the experts.
