Emmy Nominations

Jul 20, 2007 at 2:24 AM So the Emmy nominations were announced and I was a little upset that Rober Iler who played AJ on The Sopranos didn't get one for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama.
Personally, I think he deserved one more than Michael Imperioli, but whatev.
Another guy who deserved to be nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy is Justin Kirk who plays Andy Botwin on Weeds.
I mean, how do you NOT nominate someone who delivered the one of the BEST monologues on TV all season:

I love him and think he steals almost every scene he's in.
Moving on, I think it's a crying shame that Michael C. Hall (formerly of Six Feet Under) wasn't nominated for Best Actor in a Drama for his role on Dexter.
Great show, amazing actor, huge oversight.

I guess it's okay...
I wanted Three Men and a Little Lazy to beat them to go into the finals, but they didn't.
And then I also wanted Almost Perfect Strangers to beat Wocka Wocka to go into the finals, but they didn't either.
So basically, two teams that I didn't want to be in the finals were in the finals.
But that aside, I guess if I had to choose between the two, I wanted Twisted Misters to win, mostly because they're such huge dorks, and how can you not love that?
I especially love Andrew, the one in the tie.
totally off topic, but did you hear that they are making 9 to 5 into a musical?
I know, random. Read about it on the NY Post webpage. That would totally be worth seeing.
I did! I love that Dolly wrote it. I'm interested to see who's gonna be in it.
I need to go to more Broadway shows. I've been pretty good about going lately, but I still don't go enough. They're just so expensive. Even so-so seats to Grey Gardens were like $150 each.
I tried the banana thing, doesn't work so well. OH and he's right, don't heat it up in the microwave too long. 10 seconds is lots. Ouch.
I loved Three Men. I agree with that. I really wanted them in the finals.
Oh and I LOVE Dolly and 9 to 5.
