Smith Street Festival - Brooklyn

There was a street fair in my neighborhood today and you'll never guess what was right in front of my apartment:

The world's softest socks!

I've been calling all my friends and family, bragging. The world's softest socks right here in Brooklyn, I still can't believe it...

You know what someone else was selling?

Why, silky lingerie, of course!

Because what better place to buy your PJs than on a dirty city street corner where the drunk and homeless urinate and the rats run wild.

The sad thing about the socks is that when I first saw the sign, there were like five people over by it, touching the socks to see if they were really the softest socks in the world.

But I didn't go over and touch them b/c I said to myself, I need to go get my camera so I can take pictures of the softest sock in the world for my blog. But by the time I went home and by the time I went back out, all the socks were gone.

So no, I didn't buy the socks. And even worse, I didn't even get to touch them.
