Nick Lachey is on Oprah right now. I really like him. He seems so normal. I hope he's happy in life.

"Seems" being the operative word. He's in the tabs every week on one fab vacation or another with his hotter than life girlfriend, putting tanning lotion on her impossibly flat stomach. Normal is a guy that goes to work every day and has to make a living while dating a regular, or series of regular girls and hoping someday he'll be able to afford a house of his own... Sorry, celebrity vent...
I've always thought the same thing. He seems down-to-earth. He seems appreciative. He seems happy with what's going on. :) WHY not be happy for the guy! :)
He seems down to earth, but in a frat-boy, jock kinda way (with matching, cheesy cheerleader gf), I mean that in a positive way, as if to say that he doesn't really seem like an ass to those who aren't in the business and appreciates where he is.
It is no shock he always ends up in these barbie and ken relationships though, he is quite ken like.
When he and Jessica broke up, I sent all my friends this email advising them that Nick had finally left Jessica for me and to expect a few changes in my life!! It was a great Merlot night!! Those teeth are so beautiful and those dimples! Add he can sing on top of that---fine by me!!
I guess what always sticks with me is when they moved on that reality show and he and his brother moved all that furniture by themselves. Because you know, that's what normal guys would do.
He went to Miami of Ohio for college. A gazillion people from my high school went there, too. I guess it makes me think he's normal.
yeah, watching him and jessica on newlyweds, i always thought she was way too ditzy and frivolous for him--he seems like he appreciates hard work and the money he's made. the problem is, if you're a guy and have access to gorgeous women all the time, why WOULDN'T you date them? i can't blame him, but think he'd be happier with a chick who's not a celebrity, who is frugal like he is, and knows how to work hard...but he isn't going to find that in Hollywood.
and i liked jessica, but they never seemed to match up for me--i totally called their divorce while watching that reality show. their values in life were completely different.
