Another Neighbor Update

Nov 26, 2007 at 6:32 PM The UPS guy rang my bell today because he had a package for me. (Sorry that sounded sexual.) While I was signing for it, he said he had two more packages for my neighbors. (Sorry again.) Because I was feeling nice, I accepted both and put them by their door.
If they don't put a thank you note on my door and assume I'll sign for another one of their packages again without asking, I'm going to write them a short letter about etiquette, tape it to an Emily Post book and put it by their door.

Oh, I think that's way too generous. Unless it's a used book you get for cheap.
You are seriously way nicer than I am--esp. b/c you aren't even making them come to your door to pick them up! Keep us posted.

I could never be that nice. Sure I may have signed for it since the UPS guy was already there but I sure wouldn't have put them by their door. I'd have made them come to my door to get them. But it's always good to be nice to others because as they say kill them with kindness. Maybe this time around they'll thank you.

you shouldn't have done that!! way too nice! plus given that these girls are obviously complete jerks i wouldn't put it past them to say they didn't get the packages you left for them and accuse you of stealing them. sorry that may sound very cynical but i'm just saying!! be nice but be careful, especially since your niceness to them has already been completely ignored in the past! good luck!!

at least tell us that the ups guy was hot? it will make it worth it...

Make sure you take a picture of the etiquette letter by their door for us to see!

You're a seriously nice person--ain't nuthin' wrong with that. Plus, what do you say to the UPS guy, with his package? ;) I'll sign for one, but not for these two? If they don't leave you a note, I'd make sure to leave them a nice note, with your blog address.
