Nov 21, 2007 at 9:13 PM Happy Almost-Thanksgiving!
I'm at my sister's house in Connecticut. My mom and step-dad came into town from Chicago for the big day, as did my step-sister and her family from Rochester—there are eleven of us in all. (Plus Beverly. Woof!)
To update on yesterday's post about my neighbors... the UPS guy came and I didn't sign for the package. I didn't even answer the door because I was in the shower when he came, but oh well!
Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving. I'll update tomorrow a bit more. I'm a little toasty right now from one-too-many brandy eggnogs. ;)

bahaha, revenge on the neighbours... Also, I'm from NZ and this eggnog thing is totally beyond me. What does it taste like? Is it gross? It sounds gross.
When I think of "thanks" tomorrow, I have to add you and your 2 books to it. You truly have made me laugh out loud this month!!! And between work, debt, an 11 year old boy, oh and there is a husband in there as well. I'm so glad I can look to your books or blog for some daily humor to lighten the day!! I added a link to your blog from mine, have to spread the word!!
Peace!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
Happy to hear you didn't take that package.Happy Turkey day to you and yours :)
Egg nog tastes like thick milk flavored with cinnamon and nutmeg. It's tasty!
Love eggnog! I have some, too. Happy Turkey Day!!
Happy Thanksgiving Kayrn!
Good for you on the UPS thing...I wouldn't have signed for the package either. I just can't believe they never thanked you at all. So rude.
Mmmm, eggnog. yummy! Couldn't have too much myself...as of yesterday I still needed to lose 30pounds by tonight which is my 20th year High School reunion. I didn't reach my goal :( guess I'll have to cut off a limb if I'm going to reach it before 7:00. hehe
Happy Thanksgiving!

Speaking of eggnog, have you all ever tried Philosophy's Eggnog shower gel? No you dont smell like eggnog afterwards but its just such a wonderful smell. Yum!
Hey Karyn!
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Beverly, and Elvis!
Btw, if you want red hair, I think you should definitely go red! There are so many different shades of red there might just be one that looks great on you and, hey, if it's not so flattering remember that it's just hair and you can always re-dye, cut, whatever, and it WILL grow out. Plus red dye fades quickly anyway. I'm a natural redhead, and it's an awesome colour, so go for it! :)
Milk flavored with cinnamon and nutmeg you say?.. Hmm... Well that doesn't sound too bad.. I think eggnog may just has an unfortunate name.
