Best. Book Title. Ever.

My friend BJ just sent me this. It's a real book.

The funny thing is that I think I have an older version of this at home, only it's called something like "The Pooh Cook Book." It was my sister's waaaay back in the day, like in 1970s. I'm going to look for it when I get home.

UPDATE: I found the book. Here it is.

It never occurred to me until now that the title could be funny.

Maybe that's why the photo of Winnie t.P. is so large on the cover. Besides his being adorable, the publishers didn't want anyone to be unsure as to exactly what kind of Pooh they'd be cooking with...??

I really liked this post so I sent the link to my mother by email (she likes cooking).

She replied "Funnily enough I use to make chocolate rock cakes from a receipe I found in the pooh cook book when you were younger", "okay" I replied, determined to make her acknowledge the joke directly "but were they made with poo?", I was admiring this response when she replied "Of course, every time!"

Disgusting.

Simon, I love you mom! :)

I looked for the recipe for chocolate rock cakes, though, and it's not in my book!

They have weird names for the cakes. They are seriously "Hipy Bthuthdth Thuthda Bthuthdy Cake 1" and "Hipy Bthuthdth Thuthda Bthuthdy Cake 2"
