Before I answer this question, I just want to say that, right now, at this very moment... I have 69 friends.
Hee hee.
Okay, now why MySpace? I mean, aren't I a little too old for MySpace? Perhaps... but after getting a couple friend requests, I started browsing around and noticed that quite a few writers/authors have MySpace pages. I then thought, Gosh, what a fun way to connect with people who like my books or blog!
My Space also a new Books section, so if haven't already done so... CHECK IT OUT!
And, of course, if you want to be my friend, please visit me here.

I've got a MySpace page http://myspace.com/kerisstainton" REL="nofollow">here but I have to admit I still don't really understand what they're for ...
I've still asked you to 'friend' me though. I'm so needy.
I love myspace because it helps me stay connected to friends and family members now that I live on the other side of the country. I don't get to visit home very often and when you don't see people on a regular basis anymore, talking on the phone can be a little....boring. What do you say to someone you haven't seen in years? Myspace (and email in general) help you stay connected without the dead-air you may have on the phone. Because of myspace, I'm now looking forward to my 10 year reunion because I have kept in basic touch with my fellow classmates. And no...you're never too old to have a myspace profile.
P.S. - Thanks for adding me as a friend yeasterday!
Ha ha... I guess I'm needy, too. It's kinda cool to see people's faces and stuff, you know? As opposed to just exchanging emails with them.
I just left you a "friend" request. :) - Nicole
i have a my space profile. its an odd idea, maybe it makes more sense when your not under the "alumni" part of school?
